Services - Incorporate existing business process into software applications
The productivity of business process in organisations can be improved dramatically by incorporating business process into database applications
Information systems in a business context do not include just types of computer based technology, the typical contact database, but cover a wide range of document – base information, such as memos, letters, reports and forms. Many organisations have a huge amount of paper-work as part of their business processes.

To provide an efficient information system is sometimes more than just providing a software solution but should include a review of the actual business process.
For example the following steps could be followed to improve a business process which is causing a drain on an organisations resources
Modelling to gain an understanding of the current system or process.
At this stage it may be discovered that the same information is being stored in multiple areas within an organisation.
For example the contact details of clients are stored in a database and also in Excel for reporting and mailing purposes.

Designing a more efficient process. The range of recommendations for process change can include the complete
automation of a process through to a decision to leave a process entirely manual.
Continuing with the contact reporting process above, a report module would be added to the contacts database.
This would reduce the need to maintain multiple sources of the same information.
